What is fertility yoga?: Fertility yoga is similar in style to restorative yoga where postures are held for long periods of time using props (bolsters, blankets, blocks) so that the muscles may completely relax. The postures practiced help promote increased circulation in the reproductive organs at the same time as bringing balance to the endocrine (hormonal) system. Fertility yoga is also therapeutic for the nervous system as it encourages the relaxation response, bringing you out of “fight or flight mode” and into “rest and digest mode”. My classes all include breath work, asanas (yoga postures), affirmations, and guided meditations.
I also provide you with a 2 page handout before each class explaining the theme of the week in more detail, with reflection questions for after class and mind-body exercises to do for the week.
When you join this series you will also gain access to my private Fertility Support Facebook group to receive support in-between classes.
Who is this series for? This series open to ALL people with a womb who are:
thinking about becoming pregnant,
actively trying to conceive
currently undergoing ART (artificial reproduction technologies)

Our yoga practice is every Tuesday from 5:45-67pm from September 7 - October 13th. In the event that I have to miss a class due to a birth (I am also a birth doula) or an illness October 20th will be the makeup class.
You don't NEED any special yoga props, just a yoga mat, a few blankets and pillows. However one or two yoga blocks will enhance your practice experience. These can be bought at this store in Montreal, or online.
You have the option to keep your camera off for your privacy during the class, and you will always have access to the replay for 1 week after the class.
