This yoga teacher training is open to anyone with a desire to learn more about how yoga, in all its forms (asana, pranayama, meditation, mantras) can be used to welcome more comfort, calm, connection and joy into the body, mind, and heart during pregnancy and birth.
You do not have to have experienced pregnancy in order to take this course. And there are no prerequisites for this training.
Prenatal Yoga Specialist Certification
By the end of this 20-hour prenatal yoga & birth specialist certification (14 contact hours and 6 hours of independent study) you will:
have the confidence to safely teach pregnant students, friends and loved ones
know how to offer modifications to pregnant students in your regular yoga class
understand how movement, breath work, and meditation can be used to help pregnant people have a more comfortable pregnancy
have the tools and confidence to lead your very own 6-week prenatal yoga series
be more comfortable holding space for pregnant people even if you haven't experienced pregnancy before

Self paced practicum (6 hours)
